Calista Abigail / Custom Hyosung Karion ’07 by Studio Motor
This has to be another custom Yamaha TW200, right? Well, wrong…we thought the same way. This tasteful custom bike is based on 2007 Hyosung Karion and all the work was done by Studio Motors, Jakarta, Indonesia. With couple of smart moves the 125cc Korean bike was drastically changed for the better. The tank and the seat unit were sourced from the Yamaha TW200, the swingarm extended by 5cm, while tires were changed to Shinko 130/80-18 front and 180/80-14 rear. Yamaha R6 upside-down fork legs replaced the stock ones, while the front wheel hub was modified to accomodate a dual disc setup. Looking at the brakes and knowing the approximate weight of this little bike, frequent stoppies are the first thing that springs to our mind.
The standard carburator was changed for the larger Keihin PE28. Exhaust is sourced from Honda NSR-SP and modified only to be finished-off with a Supertrapp muffler. The last but not the least – an overkill Ohlins monoshock in the rear – courtesy of Aprilia RSV-1000. Flat grey just goes well with everything! Such a neat custom, we love it.
